Quite often we hear the question – what is the difference between a pressure sensor and a digital manometer? First of all, unlike a pressure sensor, a manometer is a device designed to measure and display (not just convert) pressure. In a manometer, the pressure affects the instrument readings, which can be read from its scale, display, or a similar device.
There are several types of manometers: mechanical (liquid, deadweight, deformation), electromechanical, and digital. Manometers are used in all cases where it is necessary to know, control, and regulate pressure.
Keller digital manometers are a universal solution – combining a high-precision pressure sensor with a digital indicator, and depending on the model, the ability to directly connect the device to control equipment, for example, to a control cabinet.
