Protective cover for humidity and temperature sensors — Cometeo

Description

The Cometeo protective housing is specially designed for use at weather stations to protect sensors conducting climate measurements. It is intended for chemically non-aggressive environments. The housing protects the sensor and associated equipment located under its cover.

The wide cover of the housing protects the sensors inside from both direct and oblique rain. The device's body, consisting of separate plates, provides excellent passive ventilation. At the same time, the plates are arranged so that precipitation cannot enter inside.

Cometeo is made of ASA plastic, which makes it resistant to mechanical damage and ultraviolet radiation. The housing also does not wear out over time.

Finally, the material and coating of the housing provide high reflectivity and low thermal conductivity, ensuring that the instrument readings are not distorted and remain as accurate as possible.

There are 2 versions of Cometeo. The F8100 model is suitable for all Comet recorders, sensors, converters, and controllers. The uniqueness of this model lies in its ability to be used with sensors that do not have a high IP protection class or with Comet Web sensors that have an Ethernet output. The F8110 model is designed for third-party sensors with probes ranging from 13 to 18 mm in diameter.
