Autonomous Compact Level Recorder — DCX-16

Description

The DCX-16 data logger is a standalone device powered by a lithium battery. The sensor housing is made of stainless steel. The device diameter is 16 mm, which is an effective solution for applications where space is significantly limited. The logger allows measuring and recording data on water level (pressure) and temperature over extended periods.

Water Level and Temperature Logger

The electronic components include a modern microprocessor that ensures high accuracy and high resolution in measuring level and temperature. The measured values undergo software processing to obtain a linear signal and compensate for temperature changes. The logger uses stable memory protected from voltage surges, ensuring complete data preservation.

DCX-16

The sensitive element, electronics, and housing with battery are all contained in one welded sealed housing. To download information, the logger must be removed from the measurement point. Then the cap must be removed to access the data reading connector. The DCX-16 logger uses an absolute pressure sensor. This is acceptable in cases where atmospheric pressure changes can be neglected, or if there is a barometric sensor on the surface simultaneously measuring atmospheric pressure. In this case, on the computer, you can accurately calculate the liquid level using the logger values and atmospheric pressure values.

DCX-16 SG/VG

In this version, the logger and housing with battery are mounted on the surface to provide easy access to the data reading connector; the sensor transmits the measurement signal to the logger via cable. Installation of this version can be done quickly and easily. It is possible to use mounting brackets of various sizes from any manufacturers for convenient access to all wells larger than 1”. The logger version can be relative with separation (SG) or relative with capillary (VG). In the latter case, the cable is equipped with a special breathing tube, which is protected inside the housing by a special Gore-Tex^® sealing.

The modular design of the sensor allows using the DCX-16 SG/VG with various mounting devices and enables connecting the logger to a GSM module. GSM is offered as an option and allows transmitting data from the logger to a modem. Data can also be sent to a mobile phone via a standard SMS message.
