Description

The E2706 model with CAN interface and analog output (0-10 V) is the latest representative of the Evikon E2700 digital sensor line, designed for high-precision measurement of fuel level in automotive and stationary tanks. Applications include active driving systems, vehicle tracking, and control. Stability, accuracy, and reliability of measurements are achieved thanks to the high precision of capacitive measurement technology with digital signal processing and the high durability of the sensor design.

Key features:

  • Convenient reliable design
  • Ease of installation
  • Possibility to shorten the rod
  • CAN interface with J1939 protocol
  • Analog output 0-10 V

The sensor resolution is less than 0.1% of the measurement scale, in most cases 0.07 mm. Thus, high measurement accuracy is ensured even in flat tanks. Thanks to two adjustable digital integrating filters, short-term fuel level fluctuations do not affect the sensor readings. The built-in 32-point calibration system ensures a high degree of linearity of readings in user-selected volume measurement units.

The E2706 sensor is designed to provide maximum reliability and optimal operating characteristics. The sensor rod is made of a special lightweight alloy characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance. A vertical slot in the rod prevents clogging with fuel residues, facilitates cleaning, and reduces response time compared to rods in the form of closed tubes. The sensor electronics are hermetically sealed and fully protected from mechanical damage and corrosion.

The sensor rod can be shortened on-site by up to 20% of its original length to match the tank depth. Rods of two standard lengths fit most fuel tanks: 800 mm, which can be shortened to 150 mm, and 1600 mm, which can be shortened to 300 mm. The maximum possible rod length is 2400 mm.

ATTENTION, currently the device is discontinued.
