Description
The 46 X series sensor combines a ceramic sensitive element designed for measuring low pressures and μP electronics used in Series 30 converters. The temperature and pressure sensor signals are calculated using polynomial compensation. The converter can be reprogrammed, and measurement values can be displayed and stored on a PC. Atmospheric pressure is compensated using a capillary tube running through the cable.
By default, the sensors have a digital RS485 output, but they can also be equipped with an optional analog output: 4…20 mA / 0…10 V. Through the digital output, in addition to the pressure signal, the temperature signal from the sensor can be read, which can be useful for static processes.
