Description

These pressure transmitters are certified for ATEX and are suitable for use in areas with high explosion risks. Possible explosive zones for the use of pressure transmitters, categories and groups of explosive mixtures of gases and vapors with air – in accordance with the requirements of the Customs Union Technical Regulation TR CU 012/2011 "On the safety of equipment for operation in explosive environments". Explosion protection marking: 0ExiaIICT4/T5/T6.

The 46 X series sensor combines a ceramic sensitive element designed for measuring low pressures and μP electronics used in Series 30 transmitters. Temperature and pressure sensor signals are calculated using polynomial compensation. The transmitter can be reprogrammed, and measurement values can be displayed and stored on a PC. Atmospheric pressure is compensated using a capillary tube running through the cable.

By default, the sensors have a digital RS485 output but can also be equipped with an analog output by choice: 4…20 mA / 0…10 V. Through the digital output, in addition to the pressure signal, the temperature signal on the sensor can be read, which can be useful for static processes.
