Description
36XW PP - a modification of the 36XW sensor with a special attachment for measuring pore pressure.
Pore pressure - hydrodynamic pressure of water, located in the pores of soil. The pore pressure sensor is used for soil analysis according to GOST 19912-2012 during the construction and operation of structures of the 1st level of responsibility, as well as for monitoring natural landslide processes. The device can also be used in automated monitoring systems for hazardous geological processes.
Digital output signal of the converters
The 36 XW series includes a piezoresistive sensor and microprocessor electronics with a built-in 16-bit analog-to-digital converter. Temperature error and sensor nonlinearity are compensated by mathematical algorithms. The 36XW PP pore pressure sensor is also equipped with the CSS30 software and KELLER K-114 cable, allowing the pressure converter to be connected to a laptop or computer. The CSS30 program also enables data reading and graphical display on a PC. Up to 128 converters can be connected into a single bus system.
Converter with analog output signal
The integrated XEMICS processor can operate as a 16-bit digital-to-analog converter for output signals of 4…20 mA or 0…10 V. The output signal frequency is 100 Hz (can be adjusted). A digital output signal is available for all analog pressure converters.
Programming
Using the CSS30 software, RS485 converter (e.g., KELLER K114), and a PC, pressure can be displayed, units of measurement changed, and zero adjusted. It is also possible to set any values within the measured range for analog output signals.
