Description
The built-in precise differential pressure sensor measures the pressure difference/dynamic pressure at the measuring tip. The pressure depends on the corresponding gas velocity. Thus, the flow rate can be easily calculated based on the known pipe diameter.
Thanks to additional measurement of temperature and absolute pressure, as well as the calculation of the corresponding density, the device can perform measurements for various gases over a wide range of temperatures and pressures.
Advantages
- Ready-to-use compact flow meter to minimize installation effort – built-in pressure and temperature compensation.
- Provides data on flow rate, total consumption, temperature, and pressure.
- Differential pressure sensor with unique sensitivity, accurately measures at speeds < 2 m/s.
- Wide flow range with extended measurement range due to the use of measuring sections with reduced internal diameter.
- Shorter inlet sections required thanks to the use of an averaging Pitot tube.
- Robust design, no moving parts.
- The control unit can be removed for calibration.
