Ultrasonic Leak Detector — LD 400

Description

LD 400 - ultrasonic leak detector, a detector for detecting compressed air leaks. Gas escaping through leaks in pipelines (leakage in threaded connections, corrosion, etc.) is accompanied by ultrasonic vibrations. With the LD 400, even the smallest leaks, which are inaudible to the human ear and invisible due to their size, can be detected even from several meters away.

The LD 400 converts the ultrasonic signal into frequencies that can be perceived by the human ear. Using convenient soundproof headphones, these leak noises can be detected even in very noisy environments of operating equipment in production. In pneumatic systems without pressure, an ultrasonic generator can be used, whose signal, passing through tiny holes, allows identifying potential compressed air leak points.

• Acoustic tube. The special design of the tube has achieved better recognition of acoustic waves. The tube acts as a directional microphone, reducing extraneous noise and simplifying leak localization even in hard-to-reach places. Using the acoustic tube also does not interfere with simultaneous use of the laser pointer.
• Ultrasonic generator. The convenient ultrasonic generator makes it possible to detect leaks even in systems that are not under pressure. The generator is positioned so that the sound reaches the pipeline system. The ultrasonic signal passes through extremely small holes, which can thus be detected using the LD 400. This allows detection of even the smallest leaks in door, window, and hatch seals.
