Description
Speed sensor SS 20.250 – the most compact device for universal use, featuring excellent performance characteristics.
Thanks to its compact design, the SS 20.250 can be easily installed using a mounting flange or compression fitting. All electronic components of the device are housed in a durable metal probe body with a diameter of only 9 mm. Due to the special design of the sensitive element and the wide immersion angle (radial: 360°, axial: ± 45°), the sensor can be quickly and safely installed. In addition to measuring flow velocity in the range from 0.06 to 20 m/s, the device also measures the medium temperature. Two types of output signals are available: from 4 to 20 mA, or from 0 to 10 V. The sensor automatically determines the type of output signal based on the values of the connected resistance.
Thanks to the design of the sensitive element, the sensor can be used in dusty gas environments. If dirt gets on the sensitive element, the user can easily clean it. On request, a version of the sensor with a protective coating is also available, making the device resistant to aggressive environments such as acetone, sulfuric and hydrochloric acids, as well as many others.
