Description
DS 500 is a digital multifunctional data logger designed to receive data from digital or analog devices, record, display, and process it.
From 1 to 12 devices can be connected simultaneously to the DS 500. The logger is capable of receiving both analog signals (4...20 mA, 0...10 V, Pt100, Pt1000, etc.) and digital signals (for example, Modbus), as well as pulse signals. Measurement results accumulated in the logger can be read using a USB drive or transmitted over an Ethernet network over long distances.
Using client-server database software via an Ethernet network, data from an optional number of DS 500 devices can be processed. The software cyclically saves data from all devices in an SQL database on the server. If a specified threshold value is exceeded, the program automatically sends an SMS or e-mail. Different user access levels can also be set on the server side, so each employee will have access only to information from a specific DS 500. Measurement result analysis can be performed using client software from any computer in the company.
Features
- Graph plotting. All graphs are displayed in different colors. All necessary functions are available, such as zooming, highlighting individual graphs, selecting specific time periods, axis scaling, color selection, etc. The graph can be saved in PDF format and sent by email. There is an option to combine various data into a single file.
- Tabular representation. All measurement points are listed along with exact time intervals. Desired measurement channels and the name of the measurement location can be selected in the chart browser.
- Statistics. All necessary statistical data are clearly presented. This allows the user to quickly see the minimum and maximum measurement values recorded during each specific time interval.
- Flow evaluation. Flow analysis data from connected sensors are saved in daily, weekly, or monthly reports (user selectable).
- Summation of values from multiple sensors. The "mathematical calculation function" option allows summing values obtained from multiple sensors. Of course, the resulting summed values can be displayed as a graph and recorded in the data logger.
