The recently developed parabolic mirror has become an addition to the accessory line for LD 500 and LD 510 leak detectors, and has also expanded the application range of these devices by enabling acoustic leak detection over long distances. This innovation is expected to make the leak detection system even more optimal and versatile in the future.
By combining ultrasonic waves, the parabolic mirror allows detection of the smallest leaks at distances up to 15 m (+/- 15 cm). The level of background noise is minimized to make the process as intuitive as possible.
